Hurry, get the Annual Road Tax sticker if you haven't! July 15, 2012 is the dead line this year but the citizens bargained and  the government authorities gave grace period till July 31st. For the last few years, the usual deadline is October 15; this year is July. If you get it late, you will be charged/fined with the same amount of your vehicle's yearly road tax. This means the pay is doubled, if you past the deadline. 

What to Prepare?

1. Last year's (2011), Receipt of the Annual Road Tax. If you don't have, bring your car to the Department of Custom and Tax office. 
2. Photo-Copy of your Vehicles Registration ID Card.
3. Cash. The amount you'll pay depends on your previous Road Tax sticker or receipt. 

Where to get the Annual Road Tax Sticker?

Department of Custom and Tax office is at St. 488; the building is on your right side if you are heading towards Monivong and Boeng Tra bek. The road is busy these days due to the ongoing road construction. They used to have a booth by Mao Tsetong, opposite the Chinese Embassy, but they don't do there anymore to prevent corruption.   They have one by Pochentong as well.
