News are too Negative to Cover

Dear readers, thanks for reading my blog. 

After about two months of covering the crisis in Cambodian politics, I quit writing news. This blog will change its tone in the coming days with the thought that while it is good to know current events, to people who cannot take news in balanced perspective, negative news tends to discourage people in reaching their dreams. 

There are few online news available in Cambodia and I felt there is no need to write additional news to the existing ones.  

Clinton Meets with Cambodian Premier

On her recent visit to Cambodia on July 11-12, Hillary Rodham Clinton meet with  Samdech Akeak Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

Cambodian Opposition Parties Merge

On July 17, the two largest opposition parties in Cambodia Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) and Human Rights Party (HRP) officially announced their plans to merge in preparation for 2013 election. The new party will be called Cambodia Democratic Movement of National Rescue.
