In January 2014, about 20 Cordlillerans or Igorots gathered for a Pinikpikan Party in Phnom Penh. They are from the Northern Part of the Philippines, particularly from Mountain Province, Benguet and Baguio. Those who attended the party speak English and Tagalog but also speak local dialects such as Kankana-ey (Benguet), Kankana-ey (Mountain Province), Ibaloi, Kalanguya, Ilocano, etc.

Because the Igorots are animistic, though many turned to Christianity, they have similar religious belief with Cambodians!
