Sitting here in front of Otres beach, with a free wifi provided by Sunsetlounge, I started to write about what I had read earlier today on my friend's Facebook status.
My friend took a mini-bus Ford Transit from Sorya station Phnom Penh enroute to Sihanoukville at 1:30 PM yesterday, April 15. Upon arriving at a certain bus stop along Road No. 4, speaking in Vietnamese, the driver ordered all passengers to get off of the bus. After everyone went out, the driver left for unknown reason. The moment the driver took off, my friend realized that she had left her purse, passport and other valuables inside her bag in the bus. About 10 minutes later, the bus returned. The door was locked but the driver had a worry-looking face and shivering voice. After everyone was back to their seats, checking her purse, my friend noticed that a $100 bill was missing. She asked the other passengers to check their bags. Another passenger also lost $100 bill.
My friend and the other passenger began to complain against the driver only to be snubbed and met with angry responses. Arriving at the station in Sihanoukville past 5:00 PM, they complained to the officer on duty but situation escalated as the driver and others raised their voices in defiant instead of helping the passengers and responding their complain in an orderly manner.

To all travelers, under any circumstances, never leave your valuables unattended. To the company owner, please don't ignore people's complain for the betterment of your own business.
