The so called mysterious disease that killed 64 children in Cambodia since April is no longer a mystery. The Institute of Pasteur in Phnom Penh found the mysterious diseases as Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD), and is caused Enterovirus 71. Read here for more information about this disease
Because HFMD is contagious, several people are on panic, especially that the Ministry of Education closes all primary and kindergarten schools yesterday.
While this is somewhat alarming, there is no reason to panic.
